Director, AI Strategy & Operations
About the Role
The Director of AI Strategy & Operations will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of our AI strategy, both internally and externally.
Internally, our mission is to double ARR per FTE, while tripling revenue over the next 12 months. To achieve this, we must identify, prioritize and automate manually managed workflows across the entire business. For our customers, Audyence provides an agentic system of record that enables large Enterprise marketing organizations to dramatically streamline it's demand generation practices through intelligent workflow automation that reduces cost, resourcing, and time. The Director of AI Strategy & Operations will lead the overall strategy and execution in both of these key areas.
Automating Internal Processes (Agentic AI for Ops)
You will:
- Audit and map key internal workflows across teams to identify automation opportunities
- Build and deploy agentic workflows that reduce manual tasks, improve data flow, and accelerate decision-making
- Integrate AI tools and APIs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Zapier, LangChain) into internal systems and processes
- Own the roadmap for internal AI adoption and automation, tracking ROI and efficiency gains
- Partner with department leads to train teams, manage change, and scale adoption
- Continually evaluate and retire outdated processes in favor of agentic systems
Driving AI-Enabled Product Innovation (Agentic AI for Users)
You will:
- Define and drive AI-powered features and capabilities that automate marketing workflows for our users
- Collaborate with product and engineering to design intelligent agent-based tools that accelerate campaign planning, lead validation, optimization, and nurture strategies
- Lead research on emerging AI models, tools, and frameworks to inform product development
- Partner with GTM and Customer Success to collect feedback, prioritize needs, and shape the roadmap
- Own the end-to-end execution of agentic product initiatives—from vision to production
- Serve as a subject matter expert in agentic AI, driving clarity, vision, and execution across the company
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in operations, product, or strategy roles in a high-growth company
- Proven track record of implementing AI workflows or tools to drive operational efficiency or user-facing automation
- Deep familiarity with the AI tool and agent ecosystem (e.g., GPT, Claude, Zapier, LangChain, AgentOps)
- Strategic thinking combined with a strong execution bias—you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfort collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Passion for designing systems that scale and simplify complexity
